Ford F-150 SuperCrew Speaker and Bass Upgrade Bundle

Upgrade your door speakers and add under-seat bass while retaining your compatible factory radio. This package combines our DS18 EXL-SQ speaker upgrade and VIBE loaded subwoofer enclosure with an AudioControl EPICFIVE 5-channel amplifier, DS18 MTLOC5 line output converter, installation wiring, and one year-matched Ford integration T-harness.

This complete package is intended for compatible non-amplified factory audio systems. The speaker adapter application overlap limits the complete package to 2015–2024; the enclosure's broader application does not establish complete-package compatibility beyond that range. Other cab styles and factory-amplified systems are not covered by this package description.

One Amplifier for Speakers and Subwoofer

The EPICFIVE provides four speaker channels and a dedicated subwoofer channel. Its listed continuous ratings at 14.4V are 75W × 4 plus 300W × 1 at 4 ohms, or 150W × 4 plus 500W × 1 at 2 ohms. The included DS18 speakers are listed at 3 ohms; neither of those speaker-channel ratings should be represented as the exact output into this package's speakers.

The VIBE subwoofer handles 300W RMS and has dual 2-ohm voice coils. Wire the coils in series for a 4-ohm final load, matching the EPICFIVE's listed 300W RMS subwoofer-channel rating at 4 ohms. Set gain and crossover controls appropriately for the speakers and ported enclosure.

Factory-Radio Integration and Wiring

The MTLOC5 converts factory speaker-level signals to low-level RCA signals and supports 2- or 5-channel input configurations. The selected LOC-FDH harness provides the vehicle-side connections. These harnesses are listed for use with Axxess active LOCs; a direct quick-connect connection to the DS18 MTLOC5 is not established. Installation requires confirming pinouts and configuring or adapting the signal wiring, speaker returns, power, ground, and turn-on connections.

The EA-KIT4PRO supplies amplifier installation wiring. Confirm sufficient RCA channels, speaker wire, and routing lengths for the completed 5-channel system; additional installation materials may be required. Choose fuse protection appropriate to the amplifier and cable rather than assuming the kit's supplied fuse is correct.

This package uses the EPICFIVE in place of the EPIC750 and the MTLOC5 with one year-matched harness in place of the link2 or AXLOC-FD2 options. The EPIC750, link2, AXLOC-FD2, and separate Epicenter bass restoration processor are not included.
