Add an aftermarket amplifier while retaining the factory radio in a compatible, non-amplified Ford audio system. The Axxess LOC-FDH3 provides vehicle-specific harness connections and four-channel speaker-level outputs for amplifier integration, with options for adding a subwoofer or building a more complete audio system.

For Non-Amplified Factory Systems

This T-harness is intended for the non-amplified factory audio systems in the applications listed below. Verify the vehicle’s model, year, radio connections, and factory audio package before ordering. A matching model year alone does not establish compatibility.

Subwoofer and Four-Channel Amplifier Integration

For a subwoofer upgrade, the mating harness plugs remain connected so the factory speakers continue to receive power from the radio. Pre-wired speaker-level audio outputs provide a signal connection for a suitable subwoofer amplifier or powered subwoofer.

For a four-channel amplifier installation, the 8-pin connectors and harness wiring can be configured to route the aftermarket amplifier’s outputs back through the factory speaker wiring. Wire labels identify the disconnect points and amplifier-output connections. This harness is designed to work with Axxess Active line output converters; confirm the converter and other installation components required for your setup.
